I'm best known for my work at W3C/MIT on HTML and other web standards:
- edited HTML 2.0 with Tim Berners Lee
- built the URI and HTTP specs with Roy Fielding, Larry Masinter, and Jim Gettys
- chaired the HTML 4.0 and CSS 1 working group with Dave Raggett and Hakon Lie
- brought XML into W3C with Jon Bosak
- led Semantic Web standardization: RDF, OWL, SPARQL, and GRDDL
From KC to MIT and back again tells the story of how I got there, and my LinkedIn profile gives a pretty complete employment history.
